The thunderclan leader padded into the clearing. The night air was cool and crisp and the stars and moon sparkled in the sky. Tonight was the night of the first gathering and she was both nervous and filled with excitement. She couldn't wait to meet some of the new leaders and deputies and hear what they had to say. She jumped up swiftly onto on of the thick lower hanging branches where the leaders sat, and looked down. The view from the branch would be perfect to see all clans and you could even see the small stream on the edge of the clearing for cats to drink from if they got thirsty. Then she looked down at the large roots where the deputies would sit among. This is a fantastic place for a gathering, I'm glad we agreed upon this location. Sunstar thought. She looked towards the entrance and waited for cats to start arriving.

Lizardstar strolled into the Circle Clearing quietly. He watched as Sunstar came in and scrambled up the tree. The golden-brown tabby watched for another moment, then finally padded into the heart of the clearing. He actually enjoyed the peaceful gathering place. It was definitely big enough for all four clans to gather in, and the giant tree in the middle was perfect.
Lizardstripe clawed his way up to the thick, lower hanging branches, sitting as far from Sunstar as possible. He currently didn't trust the other leaders, and really just wanted to stick to himself and Shadowclan for a while. He was a new leader, and needed time to adjust to his new life.
After a couple of moments, he looked back over at Sunstar, narrowing his eyes. "Good evening, Sunstar. I hope Thunderclan is doing...Well." He meowed quietly, trying to sound a little more cheerful than he actual was.

Sunstar watched the cat claw his way up the tree but looked away so she didn't make it look like she was to curious. She looked back at the golden brown tabby when he started to talk to her. She took a deep breath and tried to regain her confidence that disappeared when she saw the powerful looking cat trot into the clearing. She made note of how he sat as far away from her as he could. Is he trying to make enemies? He is making it very obvious that he chose to sit far from me. Before she responded she let him wait a minute and decided if she should come off friendly or hostile. She went with friendly, Thunderclan didn't need enemies this early on. "Hello, Lizardstar." She waited a few seconds before finishing her response. "Thunderclan is doing well indeed, how is Shadowclan doing?" She was eager for more cats to arrive because she didn't like the awkward confrontation.

Lizardstar looked down at the clearing, waiting for Sunstar to respond. He wasn't sure how he felt about this gathering. It would be obvious that Shadowclan was short on members, and that isn't exactly wasn't what he was hoping to show so early on in his leadership.
He glanced back at Sunstar as she replied. She seemed friendly enough, if anything. After a few seconds he shrugged and looked back down at the clearing. "Shadowclan is doing well enough." He meowed quietly again, trying to find something, or someone, to focus on.

Rattail happily half-followed half-stalked Lizardstar to the gathering, idly staring at the behinds of random cats. He liked these gatherings largely because it gave him an outlet to bother other cats without actually having to sleep next to them later on. Besides, the Shadowclan cats were generally used to him while these other cats were fresh meat.
They also tended to just glare at him, while the other clans might actually be frightened of him. And that'd be just peachy and creamy. Oh so creamy.
Oh look Lizardstar and Sunstar seem to be getting along. Rattail promptly sat down and stared as his tail as he swished it back and forth along his front paws.

The Thunderclan leader watched Rattail warily. She didn't know what to think of him he seemed a bit...lets say odd. She looked back towards. "That's good." She responded, slightly amused by his choice in deputy. But then again maybe she shouldn't be to quick to judge, maybe the cat was a good deputy and just gave off an odd vibe. Oh well, now she was out numbered and slightly more aware of there movements. She was just being extremely cautious even though the full moon meant peace for the clans on this night. She was getting impatient waiting for her deputy...Where was everyone else?

He was running late, a little to late. Jogging into the meeting area, a gray tabby looked to see Lizardstar, Rattail, and Sunstar had already arrived. He was the fourth to arrive. Dipping his head to all them, the deputy sighed "Sorry I'm late Sunstar, you know me. I have issues with finding my way to places with how distracted I get" he mewed. His blue eyes looked over at the others, and then he just blinked not really wanting to say more.

Lizardstar watched as his deputy arrived. Rattail was a good deputy, but nothing if not weird. Lizardstar usually just ignored his odd little things, although that could be hard when the tom pretty much always made weird comments and looks.
Suddenly another tabby entered. Lizardstar watched at the tom rushed into the clearing, and then apologized to Sunstar. Ah, the Thunderclan deputy. Now all the gathering needed was Riverclan and Windclan. Hopefully Featherstar and Ripplestar would come soon, the gathering needed to finish up.

Sunblaze purred, Finally! she thought. "Oh don't worry about it, Splashspirit. I'm just glad you found your way here!" She looked towards the shadowclan cats and aimed her tail towards her deputy. "This is Splashspirit, my new deputy." She lifted her paw and started licking it to not show how nervous she was to be at this gathering, since it was her first as leader. She hoped she made a good impression and the right choice to be friendly with the other cats, even if they did seem a bit hostile and withdrawn, oh well she would figure it out in due time.

Rattail stared nodded at pretty much everyone quite profusely for a moment before jolting upright to say something. "Now to wait for our wet and well-blown friends!" Rattail commented when the Thunderclan deputy arrived, referring to Riverclan and Windclan in his own particular way. Upon looking at everyone and nodding once more, he returned to amusing himself by swishing his tail over his front paws.

Whisperwing cursed herself for falling behind. She had paused to investigate a scent in the air as her clan ran by. Her nose led her to a small clump of Catnip, she forgot all about the gathering for a second before realizing she was alone. With a quick sniff of the air she was able to follow their trail to the gathering area. She hope her slightly delayed arrival would draw attention. She sniffed the air on the way down, two clans were missing.
"Sorry I'm late," she said softly to Sunstar when she finnaly stood below the oak. Whisperwing made her way over to Splashspirit for lack of anything else to do. She sat next to the new deputy and wrapper her fluffy tail around her paws. "StarClan made a good choice with Sunstar," she mewed. "Also with you for a deputy." She knew that this new role was probably frightening and exciting at the same time, so she was just trying to help.

Lizardstar watched as yet another Thunderclan arrived late to the gathering. This time he rolled his eyes and flicked his tail tip. "How is it that you were the first one to arrive here, Sunstar, but the rest of your Clan is as slow as snails?" He muttered, half to himself.

Spottedfire, deputy of WindClan, made her to the clearing in which they would have a gathering. Featherstar was somewhere in the crowd of cats, so she hurried up to the other leaders. "I'm so sorry i'm late, it won't happen again." The WindClan deputy bowed her head and sat down, bobbing her head up and down in a way of telling them to continue.

"It was, a very well made choice of Sunstar being leader. I only worry with my sense of direction, how horrid of a deputy ill be. But that is no matter, I am sure I can fix it within time" he mewed and looked up at Lizardstar ''Its simple, we get lost in the crowd, then forget where were going" he said with a merw of laughter. That's when the deputy of Windclan arrived, three deputies, two leaders, one medicine cat. So far, so good. Dipping his head he mewed "All is forgiven Spottedfire, we all were running a bit late" he said.

Featherstar sighed, shaking her head as she noticed her deputy, Spottedfire. "So sorry I'm running late!" she called to the she-cat, and she quickly scrambled up to join the other leaders. "Lizardstar. Sunstar. Ripplestar. I hope your prey is running well," she greeted, and then turned to face the other cats.
Her new role had been unexpected, and she flushed crimson when she realized that she was probably making a horrible impression by being late. Well, she'd make up for it.
When Spottedfire apologized for being late, she grinned. "It's fine. I got here even later."
